In December 2023, I launched the first event in the “Creative Flow Experience” series through Magia Creative. This event was all about promoting joy and well-being by helping people tap into their creative side. Our inaugural event took place at The KINN, a co-working space in Venice Beach, CA, where we focused on hands-on art-making and other immersive experiences. The idea was to guide attendees through activities designed to unleash their creativity, while also fostering emotional release and social connections.
Event Highlights
To kick off the Creative Flow Experience, I shared a warm rose-latte with guests to help them relax and get out of their minds, inviting them to focus on their hearts. I shared some insights from my experience in the creative industry, explaining my inspiration to create an event that blends well-being, art therapy, and a touch of fun.
I teamed up with the artist Mahdieh Maleki and Tina Maleki, and together they led a brief sound healing journey using a hand pan, creating a peaceful atmosphere for what was to come—a creative adventure into the depths of intuitive art-making. Mahdieh then guided guests to choose art materials that resonated with them and encouraged them to paint intuitively on a blank canvas. The event concluded with a sharing circle, where everyone could showcase their artwork, share their inspirations, and connect with one another in a supportive environment
The first Creative Flow Experience event was a huge success, with guests embracing the opportunity to explore their creativity in a laid-back and inspiring setting. Here are some key takeaways:
Conclusion
As the creative director and producer of this event, I’m thrilled with the response to the first Creative Flow Experience. It was amazing to see everyone get into the spirit of creativity and connect with each other. My goal was to create a space where people could explore their inner artists and find a sense of well-being through creativity, and I think we achieved that.
We’re excited to continue this journey and bring more events like this to life across the US.
